More than 50 state, county, and city employees have been trained on Mississippi's photogrammetric data using Pictometry International's Electronic Field Study(c). One-day workshops are currently being scheduled and will soon be featured on our new Visual Mississippi webpage. Keep checking back for updates.  The Center recently conducted a one-day workshop with the expressed purpose of introducing photogrammetric data to K-12 educators. The educators were well receptive to new technology. Together, we discovered uses for photogrammetric data in Math, Science (Physical and Earth), Social Studies, and English. The NASA Education Resource Center (NASA-ERC) at Jackson State University (JSU) hosted the event with overwhelming success. The regional ERC at JSU provides expertise and facilities to help educators access and utilize science, mathematics and technology-based instructional products that are aligned with the Mississippi K-12 Curriculum Framework and national education standards and that are based on NASA's unique missions.
